Bloomington Roots Foundation, Inc. is a local nonprofit focused on bringing the most talented acts around the nation to Bloomington in various performing arts spaces including the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, the Bishop, and Switchyard Park. Bloomington Roots will host music series, festivals, individual concerts, and workshops, bringing performers at all levels in acoustic roots, indie rock, jazz, classical and other artists to Bloomington. We believe creating a community around high-quality music events will also support economic development in and around our community of Bloomington and will further engage private and public partners in these performance and educational activities.
